How do I cancel an order that was supposed to be install yesterday but no one showed up?

Cleveland,

I think you will enjoy Exede very much.  I have had Exede over a year now, and it has worked very well for me.  I have had to use 3G and then extremely slow DSL prior to installing Exede.  I have just installed Fiber Internet at my house and will be some terminating Exede.  As long as you realize that you may have to monitor your data usage you should enjoy Exede.

Cleveland, I have had Exede for 3 1/2 years and have never had any problems. Satellite internet has data restrictions, once you get a handle on how to control data being used by unnecessary pieces of the websites, and devices on your home network, you will find Exede to be a very good experience. I get by easily on my Classic 10 GB plan.

Exede has well over 650,000 subscribers, most are very happy with their service. Those on this forum are in the minority. Some have legitimate problems, but those are taken care of by the Exede technical team very quickly.

You said you've read some of the post here and don't want to have those kinds of problems.  That is being smart, you are doing your homework.  Look also at us, the so-called "Champions."   If Exede was really bad in any way  we would not be here.  We do our best to help, especially in the off-hours.  The Champions are not employees of Exede or ViaSat, we are volunteers. The post you see from people with anger issues usually didn't try anything  on their end, they just came here and ranted.  Most people with problems that come here never return after sending an email to Exede; so it's "problem solved" and they're gone, without any thanks or recognition at all.

 Tonite my data resets for another month.  I have 2.2 GB to burn before midnight because I fixed all the "data leaks" (device updates, access, etc,) in my system and now do just about everything I want to do on the Internet.  Oh, I have a 10GB plan.

If you subscribe to Exede it will work correctly or Exede will make  it work correctly.  All it takes a an email to exedelistens@viasat.com.

I recommend Exede and hope you join us.


P.S.   That installer that didn't show up.... He's an independent contractor, not an Exede employee.  I'd insist on a different installer rather than completely cancelling.

Hi Cleveland I have had Exede for over 2 years and am very happy with it. I'm on Liberty Pass 12. Beam 305. So far have had good speeds and no problems or congestion. You do have to figure out data usage. But then I have friends that have wireless NOT satellite and they also have data restriction.

Its all about the install.... the service is what it is. But if you do not get a quality install by a competent tech.... your setup for failure.... the fact he no called no showed is a bad sign for that specific install company. No one likes to have their time wasted
