Highs and lows

I take college courses online so my data usage is high during the term, and low when between terms. I need more than an extra gb during term, but not even the 18 I have otherwise. Is it okay to simply go from the 18 to 25 then back to 18 or even down to the 10 plan often as in at 6 to 8 week intervals, or will that cause problems in billing? I understand there are no fees for changing plans, but what about administrative and system function hassle?

Carol, you can change your plan as often as you want, no charge, except for the additional cost of going to larger plans. I seriously think that you should try using the Liberty 10 plan, and see if the you can do your classwork, even when in the Pass mode. On my beam, 314, I get 5.1 Mbps when in the Pass mode, which I am currently in, and I can watch videos and do all my web surfing with no buffering. If you find that you are having problems with doing your class work while in the Pass mode, you can always go to a higher plan. It is worth trying, and will save you a few dollars too.

Hi Carol. 

Steve is correct. You can toggle between plans as much as you wish. I would second the Liberty plans as they have some great benefits and may eliminate the need to toggle between plans. Keep in mind that we do bill in advance and depending on when plans are changed you'll either see a pro-rated credit or pro-rated charge on the following month's bill.
