As long as you are on the Exede modem with our Exede service you should be good to go. We do have a few things in the pipeline leading to and including the launch of ViaSat 2 next summer but I'm not sure if that would see any opportunities to upgrade equipment as of yet. On the other hand, if you are seeing performance issues that's a completely different story.

Bobby, When Exede first came about the dishes still said "Wildblue." The TRIAs have changed in appearance but I don't think they are any "better" than the original ones. You may want to check plans available where you live because many areas that previously had the classic plans now have the Freedom plans which are more attractive to some people and you can switch if you are in one of these areas.

Right, the reflector dish is the same and really hasn't changed since minidishes (like DirecTV or Dish) first came out. The Tria (aka eye of the dish) is the meat and potatoes of that entire configuration and where all the "upgrades" would be seen
