Extremely slow speeds

Upgraded to the 150 plan and speeds have gone in the tank. Been with exede for about 5 years. At first speeds were great but now it's not usable at night. I'm on beam 305 and tier 2 told me I should average about 2 meg download. In the evening I'm around .17 meg That's not what I paid for. Exede sold me on their Internet when they told me availability is limited to only so many people so they could guarantee their advertised speeds. Today my neighbors and I got a flyer trying to sell me exede Internet. How much more can it possible slow down?

Hi Jerry, I'm sorry to hear about your issues with speed. There are many variable that can cause slow speed such as weatherat ViaSat’s facilities or at the customer’s home, network congestion, amisconfigured home network or outdated computer equipment and software just to name a few.   We are making every effort to keep speeds reasonable for all of our customers.
