Has anyone with easy care moved there dish from roof to ground mount? Was there any additional charge? Is there any wait time before you can do this?

Your best bet would be to contact Exede and ask them. This is a user support forum, we have nothing to do with scheduling service calls. https://www.exede.com/contact-us-exede/

Mark,

There is a once-a-year no charge dish relocate available as part of EasyCare.  If you need one, call into Customer Care and set one up!  (Just make sure to let them know it's a relocate, not a move order,)

Per the EasyCare Plan Addendum,  a charge may apply to antenna and transceiver relocation service involving non-standard installations.

A pole mount is non-standard (albeit common) requiring additional materials and labor.

I would guess the installer would charge the additional cost beyond a standard install for the pole. When I have mine installed that was 100 USD for pole, concrete and, labor to dig hole and set the pole.

The cost of the pole and concrete is about $50. Since ViaSat will pay the Tech for his labor, anything more than $50 is excessive IMO.

Now yes, back then it was Wildblue. I thought it reasonable. DirecTV, two years earlier also charged 100.00 for a pole mount. (Can't put dishes on my roof since they can't be aimed there - too many trees in the way close to the house so, I have a satellite did garden for them AKA the edge of the septic drain field weed patch :P)

That's not necessarily true any more, Old Labs and Jim.  The pole mount is now considered a standard install.  Self Installing Dealers sometimes will charge for them, but our techs under the fulfillment network should not.
