Does anyone have the Exceded Voice

How long did it take for you to get your phone service to work. I have had the system for two weeks and still cannot receive or make calls. I have called Excede at least once everyday and still no fix. I am about to cancel all and go with someone else.

Hi Paula, once I signed up for exede voice, as soon as I received the modem equipment for  the telephone service in the mail, I hooked it up and my phone worked.  What reason are you being given that it isn't working?

I haven't been given any reason. The just keep telling me to check connection s and reboot.

Hi Paula. I had the same experience as Lorrie, I signed up and once I got the adapter and registered it as instructed, it worked just fine. From posts over the last 20 months or so, it seems that some phone providers are very slow in porting your number over to Exede. I had Verizon, but some of the other Voip providers seem to want to hold on hoping you will forget about changing services. If you send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com to the social mediators on this forum they will help you so much better than if you call phone support. Be sure to include your account number or phone number associated with  your account, and reference this post.
