dns problem with one particular web site

I have contacted the website owner in question and he says all is fine on his end.  I've tried accessing the site using Chrome, Safari on 2 different computers as well as on my iPad.  It has loaded in the past, but in the past month, I have been unable to access it.

I've cleared my browser history/cache.  From other posts, I've seen recommendations to change DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  I'm not 100% sure I've done this correctly, but what I've done is open System Preferences, then Network, and clicked on advanced, clicked on the DNS tab and added those 2 servers.  This still has not allowed me access to the website.

So I'm basically asking if that was the correct place to change the DNS servers or do I need to do it elsewhere?  I'm on sat 335 and the site I cannot connect to is www.madoils.com

Thanks,
TJ

Several "Is Site up" checks tell me that site is down so, I wouldn't expect to be able to load it and, I can't.

I had forgotten about sites that could test.  However I just checked with 3 of those different checking sites and they all said is was up and running.   Yet it still doesn't load for me.

Well, surprisingly, it's now loading for me as well.  It would be nice to know why it wasn't for almost a month.
