direct tv is a scam artist for excede who rips you off on data because there packages are so small i bet the ceo and higher ups own exceed knowing that all your data will be used in  hours not months so you have to buy more data so they can charge you more money we used 10 gigs of data in 4 hours then got data restriction and they wont let you out of contract if you cancel they get fifteen dollars a month for the rest of your contract what a rip off so they get free money cause there service is worthless I think we should be able to charge them fifteen dollars a month for customer dissatisfaction getting a lawyer to see how to stop these thieves from ripping off anybody else

Sounds like somebody didn't do their homework before signing the contract. It is bad when sales people do not give full disclosures but the customer has to take some responsibility for knowing what they are buying into.

I am genuinely sorry your girlfriend is blind, but it would be better for her to bring you or someone else she trusts along to read the fine print before she signs any agreements.  I would never sign a contract without first reading the details.  I wouldn't  trust my own understanding  and retention of all the details someone was rattling off to me verbally. Nor would I trust any company rep to necessarily get all the details right.

I always get a kick out of posts like this.  These *insert monster's name here* shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of *insert disability here*!!  They have *issue* so they should not be held accountable for any contracts they chose to sign.

Yet, if that same *monster* said, I'm sorry ma'am, you are *disability* can you please get someone else to review this contract and sign, we do not believe you are capable of doing so yourself, oh the sh*t would hit the fan, wouldn't it?  Jessie Jackson on CNN raving up and down about civil liberties.

Your girlfriend is over 18 right?  Then she is responsible for her own choices, and only she is responsible to getting assistance, when needed, with her differing abilities.

When we signed up for service they e-mailed the contract to me. Lot of good that did since we did not have internet to read it!!
