on a good month, during the LNFZ, i download about 25 gigabytes a night. that adds up to about 775 gigs a month. is there a suspension for downloading alot of data during this time? \

no its not P2P. it's a seedbox's direct downloads with Internet Download Manager set to the LNFZ.

Hi Carol,
I sure do not think so. That is what the LNFZ is for.

If there was a large bandwidth shortage that would effect all the other customers in your beam, then Exede might impose a throttle to even out the download usage for everyone.

Pulling down 25 G during a 5 hour period is a very good rate. Might I ask what the program is you use, "seedbox" and which "Internet Download manager" you use?

I would be interested in a program that can be preset for 12:01 am, and then pull the download sites i had prearranged. Does it auto-shutoff at 5:00 am?

Thanks,
Everett

yes. internet download manager 6.21 build 16 (scheduler option) can set it to start at 12:01am and stop downloading at 5:00 am. also can wake pc from sleep to download in queue. it does 2.5 MB/s becuase of the segmented downloading built in. also, i use http://whatbox.ca for direct downloading of large files such as torrents. if you do buy a seedbox, get a US based server because it takes longer for downloads from overseas.

Thank You Carol,
I can learn something everyday if I just ask.

I have been using PlayLater to download movies and videos. But I did not have a way to automate it at certain times like 12 - 5 am.

Thanks again for the help and good advise.

Hi Carol Herring, That is what the LNFZ is for. =) It is there for you to download what you need no matter how many gigs you use. You do not need to worry about how much you use during that time and your account will never be suspended because of it. =) So no worries!
