Continued Speed Issues & Having Comments Deleted

As my comments over the past 30 days illustrate, I've had continual connection & speed problems with Exede. For the first 23 months or so of my contract, my service was top notch with excellent reliability & speed. Then - as community members know by reading my comments - I dropped to as low as .96 mbps to 1.57 mbps 24/7.

Thankfully, I'm now at about 5.65 mbps per Speakeasy Speedtest. But for the past 4 weeks, I was unable to even dependably use the internet from one moment to the next. I assumed Exede customer service representatives had over looked or ignored my postings. Looking back at my postings, it appears I was mistaken & Exede Brad had responded. I appreciate Brad's professionalism & attempts to solve the problems I experienced with my connection.

But my main issue right now is 2-fold. First & foremost, my last 2 postings to the community were mysteriously deleted, and other threads several customers responded to with legitimate complaints were locked without explanation. These comments were - while understandably expressing frustration - in no way rude or insulting. They in no way breached the Exede community ToS to my knowledge. Is there a reason my comments - as well as other customers - were deleted outright without a response from Exede?

And the ongoing speed issues numerous people have commented about over the past month - even a number of comments posted today - is this going to be an ongoing problem?

I'd appreciate this comment not being deleted as my last 2 were. As customers paying for a service, I'd say all of us trying to deal with these drops in connection & low speeds on a continual basis do deserve some form of explanation.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

We don't delete postings unless there's profanity, personal attacks on other users or something similar. However, we will sometimes close threads to additional comments once the original question has been addressed, especially if the conversation starts to wander off topic. This is so other people who come to the forum with the same question can easily find the answer without having to read through pages of comments.

We do want to foster conversations with and among our users, and if you find that comments have been closed, you're always welcome to start a new thread to talk about the new topic. But this forum is also a resource for many customers who just want a quick answer to a question we or our Champions have already solved. We're doing a bit of a balancing act here, and always welcome feedback and suggestions. Thanks, Exede Matt
