I was wondering if anyone else can access Cloudflare's DNS (i.e. 1.1.1.1)? DNS look ups, pings, and HTTP requests to there site are currently not working for me.

Well.. what gives..

I am wondering if it's the beam I am on? All of my pings timeout on computers on my home network and then also when I do it from my router. I do have my modem in bridge mode but one would think that wouldn't effect anything.

I'll try an additional modem reboot to see if that changes anything...

Thanks for checking!

Hard wire a computer to your modem via an Ethernet cable to test. Also disable your firewall just to be sure.

Also see if you can ping 64.25.35.220. You should be able to if your firewall or blocked ports on your router are not stopping it but, it's a bit fussy about firewalls and ports - good one to test on to see if it's you or some other problem.

You could also try a VPN. That will bypass the Viasat DNS.

A hard reboot of the modem resolved the issue which is really strange but glad it's working now. Thank you everyone for the response and tests! Much appreciated!
