Can't send email from iPad or iPhone

For a couple of days I have not been able to send outgoing emails on my wildblue email from my iPhone or iPad.  I can receive income emails but not send.  I have reentered my password a dozen times and am wondering if it is the server port settings or something.  Can anyone help?  BTW I called support yesterday and the lady was unable to help me; told me on her end I showed "active."  That was no help at all and I finally gave up.

I think there is a system wide issue with wildblue clients, at least, in receiving email. I lost mine 3 days ago. Tech support has a 30 minute wait last I tried to call.

It told me 124 minutes when I called again last night so you’re probably right.

There is a problem in accessing the Wildblue webmail site, for the past week it comes up with the HTTP 404 nasty gram, no access there. I can access the Wildblue mail using my Android phone app ,but that does not give me access to the maintenance functions such as adding or deleting email addresses.

Apparently Viasat is not responding to the problem, as I reported it several days ago, and was told by Matt that it would be reported.

I discovered that the email settings as set forth at Apple site for mail settings lookup is wrong, shows the old gmail settings.  I told apple about this about 6 months ago, has not changed anything.  I'm using imap settings forced on apple new account preferences for my apple stuff.  Is working fine.  Apple site show POP only.  ????
