If your Exede is working OK with your wifi network, you might have a look at Amazon's Kindle help page here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200690850

Hi Romeo, I have a Kindle as well.  When it asked for a password, it was referring to the WiFi (router) password.  After I put that one in , I was online!  Try your WiFi password and see it that works. Good luck and let us know.

I've been using my Kindle for over a year. It doesn't want password for WiFi, it wants origin number on 'box' of Exede. I tried account number no go. What next?

Hi Marguerite,

This is most likely under a "add Network option" (may be different with different models of kindles. Mines one of the newer generation Fires) If you're trying to connect to your wireless you'll just have to find your router listing. If you didn't give it a custom name it'll be a lot of numbers and probably the brand of the router and all you have to do is tap or select it and enter your wifi password.
