Can't even go on https://disneymovieclub.go.com/ under DAP on Evolution. Can I make a suggestion? Next time test your upgrades how they act under DAP before rolling them out to customers. You would have realized how broken this upgrade is.This is getting frustrating for many customers.

UPDATE: I can't even go on imdb.com this is really has got to get fixed soon. Or foxnews, or abcnews. I can't even go on Disney.com. It loads but it's but it's completely broken. Only see text.

And Disney Movie Club and Disney Movie Rewards have nothing to do with streaming.

Hi Joshua, When you are in DAP on the Evolution plan, video content will not be available.

We recently upgraded our software to more accurately distinguish between “Steaming media” and “web browsing.” As a result, you may find more of your internet usage falling into the “streaming media” category, including usage of YouTube, Facebook Video, Hulu, Amazon Video, Apple TV, and “User Group” websites. This may affect your experience accessing these services when you have exceeded your data allowance.

Please send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com if you would like to discuss this further. Include your account and contact information. Thanks

I know streaming video is not allowed or severely slowed under DAP on Evolution but regardless the elements around the video should load just fine. No reason to be blocked outright. Facebook, YouTube, and Netflix load just fine. Yes the streaming is blocked. I'm okay with that. I copy the video link in a text file and download it during my free zone but there are too many websites I can't access that have nothing to do with streaming.

They should be accessible at 100% full speed on what I am paying for. It's beyond me why this isn't fixed yet. No time frame when it will be fixed. It's been over a week. I chose Evolution because how little 10 gigs is and I like to browse at full speed. If this is how it's going to work Exede is not a good service anymore. This is causing problems for way too many and making everyone upset.

This problem started for me on Jan 25 so we are past two weeks without a resolution. I am in a new billing cycle now but my data is being used up at a rate that I have not experienced in two years on the Evolution plan.

Note also that in her standard answer above which has appeared in several threads, Diana does not acknowledge that Exede is a aware of the inability of people to access web sites that they should have access to under terms of service and that they are working on the problem. On the other hand, her counterpart Brad (another employee) HAS acknowledged the company considers this to be a problem AND that they are working on fixing it. His comments to that effect have been posted in several threads.. Not sure why Diane is neglecting this very important point as it would serve to perhaps deflect some of the complaints. In other words, people might be  a bit more understanding if they know that Exede is working on fixing what they have acknowledged to be a problem.

At this stage it is important that those affected continue to chime in on this forum so that Exede feels the pressure to find a fix.

Hi Josh,  I'm sorry you feel that. I am giving you information regarding how the Evolution Plan works!  If you have websites that have no video and you cannot access it, send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com. We will be happy to look into that for you.

We're investigating this with our engineers regarding no access to certain websites. We are aware that websites with video streaming were not accessible but we have been working on correcting that issue.

Evolution Plans were not designed for the customer who streams video content. If that is what you want to do, you may want to look at a different plan.

I'm sorry I said that. I do stream a lot. That has no effect on the plan I chose. It's at 5am to 8am when it's free. It's why I chose Evolution. Unlimited Web Browsing plus Free Zone sold me in. I browse a lot is what I do. Going around saving video links of what I want to download to watch from youtube or facebook. I have no problem getting on facebook or youtube, or instagram. Which luckily are the main sites I use. It's mainly news sites, imdb, I can't update my kodi app, etc. The only way I can view these sites is through a web proxy. It's annoying. We shouldn't have to do that.

Try now - some indication that it's being actively investigated and may be working now:

the eSvt site has more detailed info on data usage now too. The more being, I always used to get a blank page after clicking on the link, and now I get a little pie-graph.
My experience is the same too with those on the wildblue forum, the sites actually are "atteeeeeeeempting" to open instead of being downright blocked.
