Just had this system installed in Sept, and it's taking over 10 seconds to load any websites or move from area to area within a site... Also cannot access my account info to pay bill... was told they're experiencing difficulties, but asked that someone contact me to no avail and first bill is due today!! Not happy with this at all

Hi andrea, it usually takes 24 hrs to hear back from exedelistens@viasat.com or a bit longer if it's the weekend...but then you may just get the help you need.  Do you think it is possible you could have used up your data allowance for the month, and maybe that is why your system has slowed down so much?  are you familiar with the website speedtest.net?  you can go there to get an independent check of what kind of download and upload speeds you are getting, which is helpful to know when you are speaking to exede or installers.  with exede, you should be getting UP TO download speed of 12MBS and upload speeds of up to 3 MBS...this doesn't mean you will always be getting those speeds...at times you will get slower speeds (during times when more people are online) and at times you may get speeds significantly more than the 12/3 MBS.    I live in an area that I hear is more congested that some other areas where exede internet is concerned, which means that at times I get speeds signficantly slower than what most exede customers get even during times of most congestion...fortunately I can live with that, because even at those times, the speeds I am getting are way higher than what I had before I switched to exede.  But at nonprime times, when there aren't so many people online, I get very fast speeds...with it could be more consistent, but as I said, I can live with it....good thing because I don't think I have a choice!  :)  I live in a semi-rural area where exede and hughes are the only options available to me--I get the most for my money with exede compared to hughes, so I have exede.
Oh, and about paying your bill, I don't actively pay my bill...when I signed up, I used a debit card, which exede now has on file and it automatically pays my bill on the date it becomes due...I was told this is exede policy, so if that is true, then your bill will pay automatically as well.
Also, keep periodically trying to access your account online again...once I couldn't access my account for about an hour but then it was fine again.  (I assume you mean the site www.myexede.net?

10 seconds to completely load a web page isn't that bad, depending on the graphic content.  I just tried CNN, Fox News and Wikipedia and they all took about 10 seconds to fully load.
