Can I see more detailed useage report, by day, hour?

I'd like to see a more detailed breakdown of our usage. We check the page provided, but recently we saw a jump of 5g over a 7 day period. Part of this period we weren't even here! There are no children in the picture, so that's not the issue. We been monitoring our usage very closely, that's how we discovered the spike. I'd like to learn what happened and when.

Hello Natas,

We are developing a more informative data gauge for our customers to give better breakdowns on how data is being used. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA but if you email us at, we can look into this for you. Could be a number of things (IOS 9/9.1 and the app updates that follow any major IOS update have been a surprise to many customers for example)

Someone asks this question once a week or so.  I would recommend a third party monitoring system until Exede releases their improved data monitoring software.  I use Bitmeter II and Satellite Restriction Monitor.  Both can give you data usage by the hour.  Other folks like NetWorx and some use routers that can monitor data usage or they change their router firmware to do so.
