Accelerated Disconnected

In checking my internet status shows I'm connected but accelerater disconnected. I've reset my modem twice now and it went back to default name/password and still showing same. I just recently added Directv, and no issues till I set Genie to record a program, could this be an issue the installer miss connected the two devices?

It probably isn't related to adding DirecTV, but you definitely shouldnt have your DirecTV receiver connected to the Viasat network or you will burn through data like crazy. Those two devices are not good to be connected.

There's not much we can do to assist you here, without knowing specifics.  As this is a public forum, we ask you don't provide any personal information, such as account numbers.  Your best bet for a resolution is to troubleshoot live with our Customer Care team.  Please call them at 855-463-9333.

That being said, ExSatUsers is correct in saying you might not want to connect DirecTV to your modem.  Every time there is an update of any type, or you request on demand content, and every time they push out new firmware for the TV box, that will cost you data.
