If you're in Liberty Pass this is a normal speed. email us at exedelistens@viasat.com and we can see if you're in that part of your plan or if not, we can see what we can do to help.

I have the same issue, only mine is not dropping out at night. As soon as system uses the preset amount mine drops to .17 download speeds. I have called several times and this issue has been happening since system was installed. I seem to average approx. 40 mins on the phone every few days trying things and have never been given a answer. As soon as more gigs are added my system goes back to normal then when it uses the gig drops back to .25 average. If I was getting 1.5 - 5.0 in speed I would be fine. I do not need high speed, just internet and with my speeds you cannot even open a page.

Do you know if you are on the Classic Plan or the Liberty Plan or some other Plan?  The consistent low speeds you describe are synonymous with the Classic plans that once you go over you are at that low speed except in the Free Zones.

I have the liberty plan. I checked it last night and .17 download. I have not checked today, but historically since installed it will not change until my plan recycles. Currently looking for a different option, I can't spend the time on the phone every night. I understand that streaming Netflix uses a lot, but if it was just at what it is supposed to be it would be fine.

Hang in there. Look at the other thread that should be recently updated regarding new problems in Beam 329. Exede is working on the issues. I would suspect improvements soon and in fact seem to see some this evening.

On your modem status page at http://192.168.100.1 when clicking on the modem page, what does your RX SNR say? Cable resistance? There may be more to it than what it appears. The people you speak with in Tier 1 can only rely on the readings they get. Sometimes you can see things on your side they cannot.

Post those numbers, there may be something else up.

I'll have to look. I know if I take my router out of the equation there is no change. I will look when I get off work and post it. I'm. It super smart with this system so not sure how to get into the system .
