Why does my 10 GB plan run out so fast?

I have A 10 GB plan, was plenty for a good three years. Have not changed our internet habits and yet about a year ago we started running out in three weeks, then two weeks, last month it laste3d 4 days and this month it lasted 4 hours!!!! while I was outside and no one else home!!!!! Closest neighbor over 1/2 mile away, no way to tie into our internet. last month I paid $50 for 4 days, this month $50 for about 4 hours while I wqas gone!!!!

If you have your direct tv or dish tv connected to your internet, that could easily account for 10 GB in two hours, as, they both attempt to predict what you may want to watch, based on your previous viewing habits, and so kindly automatically download stuff for you that you did not request.

Hi Keith,

Starring Matter is correct how video on demand can be a surprise data drainer. In addition there's been a lot of IOS and windows updates as well so it could easily be any of those.I'll be more than happy to review this for you if you send an email with your account info to exedelistens@viasat.com

I'm not connected to my directv and my 10GB plan is almost used. Even if I was connected to my directv I would not want the service predicting what shows I'm watching. I haven't even been around to use it so how is this possible?
