Well guys, guess what? Another night of getting basically zero speed. So this makes it what? Day 34 that you haven't been able to solve this problem? Here's a screen shot for those curious what it looks like after Exede "fixes" the speed bug everyone's experiencing.

And to download a 76 mb file - 3 hours estimated @ 13.7kbps....

Yes, I'm getting 16 kbps modem dial-up speeds - what would be considered "high speed internet" in 1993.....in the year 2016!?

So again, is Exede EVER going to fix this problem?! Like I said before, thank God I only have a month of this circus left on my contract.

Hi Knight Rider. Last time I had any correspondence with them, they were able to get the speed to go from between 0.96 - 1.50 mbps....to between 4 & 6 mbps on average. This was around the clock, 24/7 speed.

But since then, it's been up and down like a roller coaster. I'm currently averaging around 1.5 mbps, with short spurts of 4 to 6 mbps if I'm lucky. The most common explanation for the low speeds is congestion. Some satellite tech forums I frequent have been batting around the idea it might be due to Exede overselling their beams. Others suspect the reason service has plummeted this past month is a combination of Exede switching e-mail providers plus people upgrading to Windows 10 & "congesting" the system.

Up until a month ago, Exede performed perfectly. But for 33-34 days, it's been a nightmare of low speeds, constant service disconnects, etc. The volume of complaints on the community speaks for itself.

It'd probably help matters if an Exede rep would at least give an explanation as to WHY so many people are experiencing crap-tier speeds & constant disconnects / breaks in service. Again, judging by the sheer volume of complaints here & other forums, it's an issue that's perpetually growing.
