You CAN Stream!

Purchase an Apple TV if you have an apple product.

- Netflix gives you the opportunity with many movies and shows to download on your mobile device.  They last for a number of days on your device then will expire.
- I have the unlimited email and web browsing plan with 10 GB of data.  Free time is between 3am-8am
- In the morning before 8am I download what I want to watch that evening
In the evening when I want to watch the program I simply unplug my router from excede modem.  This creates an intranet vs using the internet.
- I then airplay thru mobile device and apple TV thru the intranet, this does not use data as your not connected to exede.  Your mobile device is mirrored to the TV and BAM you are streaming!

Used it last night and worked perfect!

Thanks Nichole. Optimizing the Free Zone is definitely a great way to extend your data for streaming. Sounds like you've got it all figgered out!

The Evolution Plan is no longer offered as a choice on Exede. If you don't already have it, you can't get it. I know, because I had it for a long time, but when I changed to a different plan to see if that would work for me, and it didn't work, Exede would not allow me to go back to Evolution. They are phasing it out.  Can't get the Freedom Plan either.

So now on the Liberty Plan I have no free zone, and just web browsing and email use up my 10 GB of data in the first two weeks every month. Exede customer support can't or won't help, even after telling them that I was given no warning on the website that if I changed from Evolution to a different plan then I could not go back to Evolution.  Evolution worked for me, and it's the only plan that worked. Since losing it six months ago, Exede has been nothing but a pain in the rump.  I'm actively seeking a different Internet company and will quit Exede as soon as possible. It used to be good, but it's going downhill fast.

Hang in there, Nicholas -- news plans are on the way! We've got a few things in store for next month that might help and, of course, more in the fall when our new service launches.
