WTF just got viasat ... still cant get connected. The customer support SUCKS

Today I got viasat. The guy installed dish. Said im all done and connected. I'm not

I contacted customer support. They connect with technical support. They say I need a laptop to reset modem md account data.

I said I dont want to have to buy a laptop to get access to an account I should have as access to

You don't need a laptop.

Did the installer commission the modem and test the connection before he left?

Let me ask, why did you get Viasat in the first place?

Download the viasat app and use that? Or connect to the wifi and open a browser and type 192.168.100.1 in the URL box.

if the modem light is blue, there's nothing viasat will really do, or can really do - it's online.

if it's red or stuck on white it's an issue tho
