Yesterday we received an e-mail message from "Comcast Billing" saying we needed to fix our credit card data. We DO NOT HAVE A COMCAST ACCOUNT. So it looked like a phising attempt. We also received about 50 unable to deliver a message errors using the comcast billing name. I deleted all of them plus the original message. Since then any e-mail we send says it is being sent by "Comcast Billing". Can anybody direct me where to get rid of that name? It has also appeared in the signature option and I can find no way to delete it.  Thank you for your attention to this. Mike

You appear to have a malware infection.  First thing you need to do is clean it, otherwise nothing you change/fix will be permanent.  If you use exede's f-secure, make sure it's updated and scan.  Otherwise you'll need a good anti-malware program such as malwarebytes, adaware or superantispyware.

Thank you Champion. I tried Adaware and Norton to clear all malware. Nothing found. I have deleted all cookies, rebooted, etc. to no avail. It is still sending out e-mail with the name of Comcast Billing.

Michael I would recommend you visit www.malwarebytes.org and download their virus software.  Update and run a full scan.  If you have any malware on your PC at all malwarebytes will find it.

I have run four different virus/malware scans. NOTHING FOUND. The name is in the WildBlue signature box. How do I delete  or remove it.

Michael, in Wildblue mail, in the upper right corner of the screen is a Gear icon, click on that, then on "Settings",  then scroll down to the  "Signature" box, and click the button "No Signature.  That should solve the problem for you.
