INCORRECT INFO in your own database of HELP??! how is that to help with my data issues?!?!!? Need to fix your articles on MAXIMIZE YOUR DATA and its your most popular article. VERY MISLEADING!!!!

http://prntscr.com/ap40qw

and in the customer service agreement I find this:
http://prntscr.com/ap428o

So I understand this to mean, that not EVERY Exede plan comes with Free Zone

http://www.exede.com/documents/master...

Also, adding more than two other highly expensive, non-competitive, data-restrictive plans for me to choose from, would be AWESOME.

For crying out loud, give them time, the Liberty plans are new and, no those do not have a free zone but, if you signed up for one, you know that and, you are not slowed as badly even if you do use all of your priority data in less than a month.

If the prices of Excede plans are not competitive for where you live (meaning at your address) then you have DSL options available and, those are better than satellite but, not all of us can get DSL some, like me, cannot get usable speeds on dial up nor cellular service strong enough to connect at all, satellite is our only usable option and, that means Excede or HugesNet and, they are competitively priced with each other.

Depending on what you do online, you might want to choose a larger priority data allowance plan. It sounds like Liberty plans or Freedom plans. If you like to watch videos or really do more than text only things like email and forums. I would say Liberty is a better option than Freedom.

If you or someone in your family games or downloads lots of music or a few movies and TV shows, or streams fairly often, that burns data quickly so, you either get slowed or, need a plan with a larger allowance on Priority speed.

If you are on liberty and get slowed because you used all of your priority data, your fasted times will be the times of day with the fewest people using the beam you are on. That's usually very late night to mid afternoon. Evenings and weekends will be the slowest times due to heavier usage of your beam.

There are also other things you can do to reduce data usage, setting Windows 10 to Metered in advanced network and internet settings, turning off the WiFi on mobile devices, satellite TV and, game consoles and only allowing those to connect it it's an absolute must, like critical updates for those devices. Tablets and phones can generally be taken to a free public WiFi to download apps, music, videos and such.

0.2Mbs is very slow, even for being out of priority data. If it does not get better at less congested times, I would suggest you call support while it is being that slow and see if they can help you identify the problem.

Yes, I have changed my settings to Metered in my settings; I don't have Wi-fi enabled on my cell, no gaming consoles, I don't have satellite internet, we only have antenna . . .  my tablet, I use rarely . . .  not sure why I gobble up so much data so quickly.  I didn't even watch anything streaming before it was gone.  So frustrating.  It was all used up in less than 3 days.  I am hard internet browser/user, but still.  I don't download stuff at all, at most, PDF manual to try to reconfigure router for satellite. I have turned off cloud back ups.  So . . .  here I am.

Freedom plans are not available to me.

You will also want to set Facebook and any other social media sites that have such settings no to auto play or auto load videos. Getting an adblocker and flashblocker also helps reduce usage.

Streaming anything, video or music uses a lot of data - the internet is not a radio for us LOL.
I'm doing good to stay under my 30 GB priority data limit most months, and there are only two of us using my connection - no kids and we don't stream anything.

Thanks for pointing that out, Tracey. We've corrected the Help Center article to note that not all Exede plans have Free Zones.
