The Motorola modem is designed to work on cable internet. It will  not work on a satellite system

Hi John,

Steve is correct. Because satellite internet is different from cable and other ground-based internet, our modems are the only ones that will work with the Exede/WildBlue network. Once you have one of our modems, you CAN use some other Wi-Fi routers with it if you want. Or you can just use our handy Exede WiFi Modem without a separate router.

It's my experience that the "handy" Exede WiFI Modem is not all that handy...

I agree, "Handicapped" is a better description of the Exede WiFi Modem Router
