I swapped from wildblue to exede 4 months ago, 3 kids (15 to 11), kept my wildblue usage at max all the time, I couldn't even check emails or banking without waiting to long before the switch, Now with the late night free zone and even when we do reach the usage limit, my banking and email still work normal to me, everything the kids try to do slows them down and they get mad, LOL, but I noticed on the 4th month they are starting to monitor themselves, I think this has been a great move for me as a parent so far. the things I need to look at and check on work fine for me, but the sites they like to use run to slow for them, So for them to start monitoring themselves is teaching them how to be more mature, and if they want it to faster I make them pay me to buy more data from money they have earned,  I am so glad that I have made the move. and as far as late night free zone they try to stay up and only succeed 2 out of 10 tries, exede has made my life easier, one less thing for me to worry about in a stressful world.

Thanks Bryan

Thanks Karmin, i have to say that exede customer service is usually on top of things, I had an issue with the new my.exede.net login and they fixed it pretty quick, and another issue they didn't fix as quick but they called me and let me know a timeline so i didn't have to wonder and get mad for not knowing. your team is pretty good

I should remember the names of the costumer service people all of them super nice. For myself I just have to find out how to post my 2 cents or where to go if I want to write more then 15 words, had 6+8 to many letters when I tried to post. It might be too complicated for me. Stuck in the jungle for too long. Aloha from Hana Maui.

Hi Bryan--I also had Wildblue first but then switched to Exede. I'm the only one who uses it and have the 10GB. But I never use it all up. Come close. I read local newspaper online. Do emails and watch clips that are sent to me. Belong to 2 social groups and one is graphic heavy and still have enough for data allowance for the month. Very happy with the service and have been lucky I guess because customer service have always been very nice to me.  Helen :-)

Hi HMC1940
I just do banking and bill-pay, e-mails and some ebay stuff and have no issues with 10 GB plan, but the kids are a different story, they live in a data world, but do not understand somebody pays for the data. but wildblue just slowed me down so much i got irritated at using them. I was thinking of going to the fiber optics but decided to upgrade to exede first, glad i did - at first they would max out the data but the places i went to seem to work fine for me, now they see I am not going to upgrade for them to abuse the usage even more and this month they finally started talking about setting limits on each other since I wont buy them more data, "loving it". I solve enough problems let them solve this one.

I hear you Bryan--Of course when my  children were young we didn't have all this. My children are all in their 50's. But my one daughter and her friend get online by Verizon think it is. They only have about 3gigs so they aren't online that much but my daughter ran out of data after about 2 weeks a while back. She is usually real careful. But even if did get another way to get online where I live I wouldn't change from Exede.  Have a nice day. Helen

When I tried to post a comment it said to many words and I only had 2 short sentences. But I'll find out how to.  Just wanted to say me too live remote the jungle of Maui is BIG and I am happy with my service. Was blue but Exede now and except when we get 5 inches in 1 hour I have good satellite service, sometimes when it started to fail I know its coming=big time- but we love the rain and get 240 a year. So Aloha to you and see you on the web or FB.

I was happy with wildblue, it was such a upgrade from dial up with old phone lines even. And then exede, wow I have to say I think it is awesome. Any issues I have had, they have taken the time to look into and fix.
