Wildblue phishing scam

Hello Jeff. We identified a few emails that were phishing scams claiming to be Wildblue Admin and another associated with payments. Those have been reported to our email platform to label as spam and no emails should come. However that was effective as yesterday. When did you get this email and who was it from? 

Keep in mind that Wildblue/Exede will NEVER email you to ask for payment or account information. If you ever have questions about your account following an email you can always call us at 855-463-9333

My email message asked for my password and some other personal information otherwise my account would become invalid. I'm thinking this a phishing expedition. Am I right or do you guys want my personal information?

Yes its a scam Exede/ ViaSat will never email you and ask for your information. The only way they will ask for that is in here and that goes to the exedelistens@viasat.com email. Even then only time they want it is if you have service issues and you ask for their help.

this is the one i got.and yes i have already reported it..and because of that some sort of glitch.i cant log into my account to change the password for my primary email.much less my 2 secondary emails..

Definitely a scam, this is not from Wildblue/Exede/ViaSat.

If you clicked on the link, that could be causing you the problem. Hopefully you did not give any of the information requested.

Hi Julie,  Yes that is a phishing email.  Please delete
it and do not respond, ViaSat will not send an email asking for personal
information ever!. You made a wise decision to ignore it. Are you able to get
in your email account now? If not, you can call 855-463-9333 or send an email
to exdedlistens@viasat.com.  We can help you to change your password.
