Trouble upgrading

I have had WildBlue Internet since 2007. I contacted WildBlue about upgrading my equipment because it is old don't even have wi-fi which I now need. I was told  I could get a free upgrade and then I was put on hold for a few minutes. Then when she came back I was told the upgrade wasn't available in my area. I guess being a long time customer means nothing to WildBlue. I will soon be canceling my service,very disappointed with WildBlue.

Robert, there are some areas of the country that are filled up, therefore you probably are being told you aren't able to upgrade at this time. 

If you need wireless, you can simply buy a wireless router and connect it to your Wildblue modem. Even if you were to upgrade to Exede internet, you would still have to provide your own wireless router as the Exede modem, just like the Wildblue modem, does not include the wireless radio. We all provide our own wireless routers, and enjoy the service.

Hello Robert, as Steve stated above we do not provide the wireless routers for WiFi connections. However, wireless routers will work with Wildblue service, just as with Exede.
