We're an Exede subscriber. Is it considered WiFi or is it a wired system. We have two desktop PC's running Win7. They are connected to a NetGear R7000 Nighthawk router. The router is connected to your ViaSat modem. If this is not considered WiFi, is there a way it can be converted to WiFi?

Thanks,
Lloyd Singer

Your nighthawk router would be connected to the exese modem via a cable. Now as far as your computers that is up to you if you run a cable from them to your router or connect them wirelessly (if they have that ability) all laptops will have that ability and some desktops.

If you have a wireless router, then it is WiFi; a local wireless computer networking technology. Most routers are now wireless but can also be wired.

I connect to my wifi (router) with my smartphone for "free: internet access.
