How do I get access to a configuration guide for the ViaSat WiFi Gateway?
The admin password is on a label on the device. How about instructions or is it trial and error?

Actually, no. These are not "all" of the instructions one might need.  For reference, it would be handy to have instructions on port forwarding and how to configure the router for gaming and other applications that have specific access requirements.

If WiFi Gateway is in bridge mode, then port forwarding is done via your router instructions.

If UPnP is turned off, then devices like televisions, stereo systems, game consoles, and cellular phones will not work if they depend upon UPnP via WiFi.

Footnote - portforward.com, provides guidelines for nearly ever router make and model number and a number of typical applications of port forwarding.

Instructions for port forwarding and other advanced features may be accessed through the router GUI by selecting the help buttons on the various pages.  A screen shot of the relevant page is below.
