What plan are you on?  I'm on the cheapest plan available (Liberty 12) and it costs me $60.99 a month after modem lease and taxes.

I get 12 GB of priority data which means I can do stuff super fast until I have used 12 GB.  After 12 GB of data is used, I get good speeds (up to 5 mbps) during the day and slow speeds after 5pm.  You only need a little more than 1 mbps to stream video.

The good speeds during the day and slow speeds at night are exactly what I signed up for.  It is the trade off I accepted in exchange for a cheap plan.

The cheap plans are not unlimited and have data limits.  If you used up all of your priority data (and it sounds like you have) then you will experience buffering in the evening.  It is normal.

If you want a plan with more data to stream movies, pay for a plan with more data such as Unlimited Silver for $100 a month or Unlimited Gold for $150 a month.  Those are the prices in my area.  If you are in a different area the prices could be higher or the plans might not even be available.

There is a "problem" tab.

If anyone doesn't understand what a "problem" is then they certainly aren't going to understand thinges like "speeds up to 25 mbps" and "priority data."

I hate it when a person comes here and b'tches about something that could probably easily be fixed and then never response back.  Streaming can be done with less than 1mbs.  The Bronze plan is opto-throttled to less than 1mbs and the silver is 1-1.5mbs.

Original poster just doesn't want to admit that he signed up for the cheapest plan and used all of his priority data.

I like "opto-throttled".  I give Viasat permission to use that new word.

What resolution are you streaming? On the newer unlimited plans if you try to stream above the resolution limit it'll do that. Otherwise you might want to check data as well.
