why is my service garbage af every day all day?

this is how you truly f*$k someone over right here. they dont provide the service they claim and will not let you out of your contract.

I have about everything imaginable in complaints here but never heard of not being allowed to pay the termination penalty and opting out.

People somehow equate paying $15/month for each remaining month to get out of a contract some draconian thing. Meanwhile, they dont think twice paying $1,000+ for a mobile device.

My service works as advertised. Many of my neighbors and co-workers have Viasat and their only complaint is they want more data. Other than that, they say it works as advertised.

Possibly there are some. There are many who never get the service from day 1. I called and put up with never having data for two months after numerous calls into customer service. I cancelled the service and within a week turned me into collections. I paid $10 a month until balance was satisfied to keep my hard earned credit score intact. ViaSat has all types of aliases around this area. There are many customers that have been taken. But I signed the contract but they did not deliver their product. I turned all communicating devices off and was still burning data. Until the FCC gets involved they will be #legalpirates in my book. I giving up on satellite tv as well because I am so disappointed in this satellite company. I have dreams of ViaSat having to repay all that they have taken advantage of. Oh look! Another satellite going up. More space junk. Get away from satellite tv and internet. For the price, I would rather spread the manure in my garden. Fight it to the end ViaSat. Get that free money. Not from everyone. You be selective of who you want to screw. #FCC needs to investigate these rip-off artist. Now - back to streaming DSL from Windstream. Now they will deliver their product like a great company should. #ViaCrap

You still suck as a customer service program does not exist. I wonder if they are paid with a percentage of the cancellation funds they collect. Maybe they are Reptillian in nature and frankly don’t care.

I guess I lucked out then. Had a professional installer from day 1 who did an excellent job and I really haven't had any issues other than my first Exede modem crapping out. Viasat replaced it for free and I haven't had a problem since. By the way, I can't get away from satellite. It's my only choice living in the woods.

I understand human nature and the legal system as it is in this country to essentially advertise one thing and then tactfully providing something less in the product/service by way of a contract that allows for less. I also understand as a customer of said advertised services/products I am also responsible and thus obligated to understand such contract in that I MAY NOT get what I assume that I am paying for.

IN layman's terms . I screwed MYSELF by not reading the contract... WHEW!

I need to slap myself for being stupid in believing everything I am being told.
