At one time my Liberty Pass was good I had goon internet until 6pm. But now I can not even check my email. We pay quite a lot for this internet and I would expect to get my moneys worth.

I live in the Concord Virginia area.

Hi Brian.

Liberty Pass is designed to give you 1-5mbps during the day and late nights. However during peak/prime time hours it does drop below that. You can always add additional priority data and you'll be resumed to the speeds prior to Liberty Pass

I believe that 7 am is not a peek time. Plus the speed was round 5mbps now its is not that is an excuse.

As long as it's in the 1-5mbps during daytime hours it's within the Liberty pass range. Anything less than that we will need to take a look for you. You can email us at exedelistens@viasat.com or call us at 855-463-9333

I believe something changed with the way they allocate bandwidth to Liberty Pass users, mine worked nicely for the first 2 months, then BAM all at once its the worst service ever.

They should just make a better service like 5 or 7 Megs unlimited no high speed just that if they did that then there would not be slow downs all the time this counting stuff is what messes everything thing up give up the 25 meg and just lower it to 5 or 7 all the time what so good about high speed if its only high for a few days why not just have dependable seed for those of us who have no choice save the extreme high speed for the services that can deliver it like fiber and cable Just give us something more then AOL dile up in 2016

You need to come up with a different plan other then getting a little money from some one then pissing them off so they cancel make them happy so you can get more money and stay in business and make competitive prices it's not that hard to do the right thing and it pays off eventually too if not you will go the way of AOL if your that lucky

My only choice is excede so canceling wouldn't do any good. Just part of living in Rural America i guess. I came from 50 mb download (Charter). Now i'm at usually 1 mb download.. sucks that me and my family cant all be on the internet at one time lol!!!

Satellite is amazing and all but Satellite is mainly for those who have no other option it seems.. But it sucks that it's so out dated and can't keep up with the times.. and it gets so congested i wish the internet worked off lasers or something... idk

No complaints from me.I get good speeds most of the time, and have no problems with my data being used up quickly.

The satellite has a limited data throughput and it is just not possible to increase that. Once the ViaSat2 satellite is launched and put into service next year, there might be some much better plans available.

Well my data gets used up quickly and I usually have to reset the router like 2-3 times a day when it's at it's worst. Family of 4

What speeds you can get depends largely on how congested your beam is. There are parts of Virginia with very slow speeds because of beam overload. I am sure there are other beams in the same situation. It is just something  that us country folks have to tolerate if we want the internet at our homes.

I'm just worried that Exede will launch a new satellite and this could happen again.
I mean gotta make that $  so why not just keep the plans the way they are "more speed" and then sell data again i think it's hilarious how people "BUY DATA" It's such a stupid way of making money lol

I have not bought any data yet. The Liberty Plan I have, 10 GB, works just fine for me. My boyfriend and I are able to live within the data limits pretty well. It is me mostly, as he is away from home with his job quite a bit. Those of us living in the country, because we want to, have to sacrifice some of the things those living in the crowded neighborhoods take for granted.
