Why does the automated system already think I have Satallite service?

I called the toll free number to oder service and the automated system told me I have to call the local provider that I already have service with for inquiries about my satellite service.  I don't have satellite service so why would I get that response?  I have had the sate phone number for 18 years and there has never been exceed service associated with it.  I guess they don't want to sell me service.

I am not sure which phone number you called, but to sign up for service with Viasat, this is the correct number to call.  855-393-3302order online

So,  I went online and ordered using all the same information except using my wife's cell phone number and the oder went through with no problem.  Also the number given out on the viasat website is 855-627-2555 not the number you listed, weird.

I got that information directly from Viasat.com. I don't know why the number may be different in different areas of the country, but glad to hear that you have successfully ordered your Viasat service.

Is that an OBD-II engine analyzer I see plugged in there?

That is Steve's customer analyzer so he/it can determine the skill level of the client and better regulate his/it's response.

It could also be seeing your account as a  wholesale account (we have absolutely no access to those accounts and those WILL be referred to the provider of the service)
