I used up my 5GB cap yesterday on Exede Evolution. I noticed that I cannot access Netflix at all. Why is this? It should be illegal. Why don't they only block the streaming part of it? That's what they did for YouTube. I have the dvd/bluray plan and I can't get on Netflix to browse or access my que. I like the Evolution plan because our cap lasted us until the 25th with a reset on the 28th. I do all my YouTube early in the morning but I am upset that I can't go on Netflix to browse around. Please find a way to fix it.

Joshua, the way Evolution works is that you get unlimited webpage and email access that's never slowed or restricted, plus the 5Gb bucket for 'everything else,' which typically means video and other uploads/downloads. When you use up that 5GB, you no longer have the data available to use for video/Netflix.

I am very disappointed in hearing that, as I was looking into changing to the Evolution package since the "Freedom Package" isn't available to everyone. So they block pages on your "unlimited" usage?

I like the title "Freedom Package" At least they acknowledge most of us are slaves to the data cap. :)

I was unable to get into Netflix last billing cycle either Joshua.  Hopefully ALL customers will be allowed to subscribe to the new unlimited packages soon so we do not have to shut off and unplug everything or monitor our data usage daily.  When that happens, these complaint threads should stop.  I just pray the cost is not out of reach for us.

I agree. I would, and know many who would totally jump on throwing money at an unlimited data package.
