Question about Voice

my internet got hooked up on tues.......i still have not received my voice adapter via fed ex and your telling me i have an outstanding bill????????????????????i just moved in i paid rent rent deposits electric deposit water deposit should give someone a chance to breath before i get my first bill .....i dont get my disability till the 3rd so there is no money on that card and she is telling me the only way to pay is with ck ...i have none or credit card i have none....... i am so mad i could spit!!!!! how can you bill someone when they dont even have the phone service????????????? i was trying to stand outside in 100 degree heat getting ate alive with mosquitoes and holding my neck side ways trying to hear the lady and the cheap obama phone times out before i can finish a conversation!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant get any reception on it ....but once again how can you want a pymt when i dont even have the service i requested????????????/and how was i supposed to read my contract on my email when i didn't get my internet until tues??????????i was unaware i would have to make an immediate pymt had i known i would have waited because i dont get paid until the 3rd i never would have imagined i would have a pyment RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!! ONCE AGAIN HOW CAN YOU DEMAND PYMT WHEN I DONT EVEN HAVE THE PHONE SERVICE???????????????????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????>?

Terry - Sorry for all your confusion. Maybe I can help explain things. Your internet service starts the day it is installed and your first months payment is usually taken out at the same time as you will always be paying in advance. You will not be billed for the phone service until it has been installed and activated. Customers sign agreements at the time of installation via electronic signature. You have the opportunity to read the agreement and print it out if you wish at that time. Your agreement will always be available to you on your Exede home page. Someone had to sign your agreement at the time of installation in order to get your service going. If you signed, you should have read it first. If your installer signed for you, he needs to be reported as that is a big NO NO! I hope you get everything worked out soon and are happy with your service. I am sure one of the moderators will be responding soon as well.

Hello Terry, I agree with our forum champion Jim, you are billed a month in advance in regards to your Exede monthly service, thus the reason why you have received your first bill sooner than expected. We normally don’t send out the Voice ATA for your phone service until your internet is up and running, more than likely it will be there within a few days.
