$5.88? It's no big deal, but a warning would have been nice. You can cause people overdraft fees, and that is not nice.

Doesn't your invoice show line item cost?

I am guessing the 5.88 is a local tax collected once a year

Hopefully it's a one time charge. My budget is at max.

Should be.

Viasat must have quite the accounting department to determine all these taxes (and the reimbursements that go into it :)

I had a "one time charge" annual property tax recovery fee of $1.89 on my current bill. Let's see if it's just a one time charge this year.

Hello!

This is a small fee that tends to hit around this time every year. More information can be found here: https://help.viasat.com/articles/General/What-s-the-Property-Tax-Recovery-Fee
