Why can't Exede produce an email before they direct debt my account? I can't object to the bill until after exede takes my money.

Why can't Exede produce an email before they direct debt my account? I never see a bill to review before exede takes my money therefore I can't object to the bill until after exede takes my money.

That was my question Dorothy, I never had it answered so I dropped the debit card and get a notice now and if ok I just pay it. Kim might be able to help.

When I signed up they said that I couldn't get the service without direct debt. So, how did you drop the debit card and start getting a notice? I'm new to the community, so who is Kim and how can she help me?

It would be nice to compare the daily screen shots of usage from the 'Dashboard' with the actual data used during a billing cycle. I complained to the Colorado Better Business Bureau about Exede's billing without full disclosure of the amount of data used. You can call and the rep should be able to give you your cumulative data usage during the billing cycle.

Dorothy,

I get an email about a week before my credit card is debited.

Log into your account and along the bottom of the page is
My Account/Customer Contact Information
BILL SENT TO and I added my email address.

Hope this helps.

Are you talking about your personal email or your exede email address?

Hello Dorothy, your bill is available to be viewed at myexede.net through your online account the day it is due. If you need assistance with logging into your account, feel free to send me an email to exedelistens@viasat.com and I'll be happy to help. Thank you.

Dorothy,

I get the email notification sent the email address of my choice. I entered the personal one I use all the time (It is not an Exede email address since I don't use Exede email).

Actually I mislead you......the email notification is sent the day the bill is "Ready" (not before it is debited from my credit card as I said earlier). I checked the dates. I was forgetting that my payment to my credit card is a week or so after Exede bills the card.

So I don't get the email notification BEFORE the card is charged but I have plenty of time to challenge it before I actually pay the credit card ...sorry for any confusion caused.

not to sound hateful, because I dont pay the bills I dont know. But, doesnt it come out the same time each month? If it was me I would just deduct it when I got paid. I know we have a lot of bills paid that way and most of the are the same every month. So i know when the check is deposited, the bills that are going to be taken out for that month or maybe even closer, with in the next two weeks. It is minus out right when the deposit is made, You just have to not think, well this has not really been deducted yet. This is why I do not full with the bills, but i know that is who its done here. And we get a notice, I couldnt tell you how far in advance we get it. I hope that will help you, and I know how we do the house payment, its hard to do but after you have done it, its great. Try to pay one month in advance, that way you are always ahead. I know the bills we can control, we do that. i guess you couldnt do that with a bill like this that they take out, but you can minus it when you make your deposit, you know it coming do and they make sure they are going to get theirs that way.

I am very budge minded and I did plan on the monthly bill However, what you don't know is my bill changed for no reason and they didn't send my bill to my email UNTIL after the deducted the money from my account. So when I saw my email and amount. I had to call and find out why. Therefore, if I could have a bill 24 hrs before drafting my act I would have understood the extra amount

That was my problem Dorothy, I want to know how much before they draft my account. I use my account for bills only and control it instead of it controlling me. The  only way I can do that is to know fairly close how much bills are. A glitch and wrong amount could cost at least $36 bad draft fee and my bank as most would love to see that snowball. I'm not taken a chance on that. Kim answered you if you haven't noticed.

As I said earlier, I don't pay the bill, but I make it. As far a I knew it was the same price each month, Does it change? I was never told any difference that the bill had gone up or down. What would cause it to change month to month from the price you signed up for. I am just asking!

Your bill should remain the same each month, unless you change your service plan, or if you live in a state, county or town that levies taxes.

That is absolutely correct Steve. (: The only other thing that could cause a change, besides the above mentioned, is a Voice call charge and the purchase of Buy More.

When I do the math, 5 times $9.99 equals $49.95.

Hopefully they haven't changed how mathematics works.
