Why am I paying for 12mb download, when I am only getting 0.71mb and Tech Support tells me it's because of Bandwidth usage?

Had Tech Support troubleshoot, explained that bandwidth usage was the cause. Why am I paying for 12mb when I can't even get 5 or 6mb download speeds?

Because your contract says speeds are not guaranteed.

Thanks Vince; But when Tech Support tells you it's a bandwidth problem, you would think with the multi-million satellite that we are paying for could produce a little more room for all of us. 0.71mb download isn't anywhere close to the 12mb I'm suppose to get. Heck, I get better speeds under the Liberty Program when it kicks in!

Sounds like a throttled speed to me. Bandwidth allocation is a stock answer that you can't argue with whether it's true or not. Face it if we had options most of us would be gone yesterday. Have a great day!

Frank, There are many reasons for slow speeds.  Please send your account information to exedelistens@viasat.com and we'll take another look.  Thanks
