Hi Roger,
My first thought would be that your Gig's for the pay period have been used up and your speed's have been cut back. Is is slow between 12 midnight and 5am also?

I have had this service since December 2014. It has always been slow. Anyway to make it faster?

Frontier is only DSL and Fiber. Anyone using Exede for satellite internet most likely doesn't have any other options because of location.

Any dsl, fiber, or coaxial internet service is going to be faster, with lower latency, and cost less. If you can avoid satellite, I recommend you do.

Brand new customer. O used. 2 or less mbps at all hours including free zone. Web servers timing out because of slow speed. Odd thta upload is doble at 4 or more.

I get patches of this too. It seems like it's mostly during business hours, which is awful because I start paying this much for internet, so that I could still work from home on occasion...

You have definitely not been suckered as a new customer and I would hate for you to feel that way. I believe Exede Karmin is assisting you and she arrives to the office in about an hour. I will make sure to let her know that you have responded to her email.

thank you. I began this process on Monday because my installer said he could return on Friday when I am off work. With delays until this afternoon, it may not be possible for him to follow up this week. That will mean another full week of this existing and insufficient service until I will have another time for him to come. He said no customers in this area are under 8 mbps and most are at 12 in this area. I was getting 1.65 mbps yesterday and web sites were timing out as though I was on dial-up. An extreme disappointment for nearly $1,200 per year. Exede Karmin's only response was to say everything is testing fine and it is due to congestion. I don't see how congestion is affecting only me in this customer service area or how that congestion could be the same at 1:30 or 3 in the morning.

My installer is coming Friday because he said something has to be wrong with the equipment. We are not in a congested area and his customers routinely tell him they are getting surprisingly fast speeds, never at any time as slow as mine. I hope Exede Karmin can run a more extensive ping on the receiver and modem from your end to give more guidance to the installer. But he and I do not accept the current response from Exede that everything is fine and I'm just experiencing congestion.
