Jeff, is this a question about new Exede service and, if so, what do you mean by a 'grace period?' We don't have a trial period, if that's what you're asking.

Smart Phones:   The most used electronic device.   So much capability.

The best and the worst.

Keep your credentials, drivers license, insurance information, navigation, apple pay, checking your credit balances, pay bills etc.  Plus all of the entertainment.

But give your location away, subject identity theft and personal information theft.

Starting to cause more driving accidents then DUI and reckless driving.

It is the Convergence of computers, telephones, Xbox, gaming etc.

Use them Smartly and then they will really be a Smart Phone.

As the spouse of a truck driver - who by the way does talk to me HANDS FREE on a smart phone, I can't get through a five minute conversation with him without him telling me about a car  (4 - wheeler as we call them) that needs to be reminded they are driving a car, not a phone booth.

You're right, people need to learn when to ignore the smart phone and, be smarter that the phones. And now with that Pokemon Go app, people are walking off cliffs, into traffic, etc... all because of smart phones.

Be careful with the things, they are useful tools, but know when to put them away or ignore them.

I agree Bev, but unfortunately it is going to get much worse before it, if ever gets better.

It's going to be interesting to see how this whole Pokemon Go thing progresses. People are wandering around with their cellphones trying to get to specific locations.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I don't do banking, purchasing, etc on it. I never put in the credit card. I also tell it to never report my location to others, but I do use it for GPS. I use it mostly for taking pictures though. I do have a word jumble game that I play as well. Other people I know have all sorts of fancy games, but word jumble is pretty much it for me. LOL.
