Your Exede Surfbeam2 modem does not need a key, or password. It has no wireless capability. You will need a wireless or wired router to connect multiple devices. the router would connect to the modem using an ethernet cable.

Hello Janelle, our forum champion Steve is correct. You do not need a key or password because the modem does not have wireless capabilities. Please consider getting a router for a Wi-Fi network throughout your home.  I have left a link below for routers that work best with our service. I hope this information has been helpful. Have a wonderful day.

Exede service done not use or require a password to get to the internet. Now if you are trying to connect to your wireless network then yes it will require the password that you set it to when connecting for the first time. Now if you don't remember that then do a factory reset on your wireless router and start over.
