I just want to see the history of my data usage. In all honesty, I have not paid attention during the 6 month promotional period. I'm trying to see if we will need to plan to purchase more data when the promotion ends after this month. Thanks

Only ones that might have that are the Exede mods here if anyone. Send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact info and reference this post. If anyone can see past usage its them we don't currently have access to that. Now they say new stuff / changes are coming so have to wait and see if that's one of them.

Hi Cindy, for past usage history we only have the ability to provide current and previous months data usage associated to your account. I would be more than happy to provide assistance for info related to your data usage. Please send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact information. Thank you.

Viewing past pay period data usage is one of the difficulties I and others have experienced with Exede. One has to log into your account and bring up your account dashboard. One of the windows is a semi-circular graph, not unlike a gauge or car speedometer. Print it out or take a screen shot. To see where I am I drop an Excel spreadsheet the tells me the same data usage as the dashboard gauge. I have called in before the end of the billing cycle and most reps will tell you

the current percentage of use or number of GB's utilized. You've got to access before
midnight of the last day of the billing cycle. Several times I've asked about accessing data usage
archives like you can with your cell phone, bank or credit lender.... no such records are
maintained. Most of the statements you receive from your utility companies and your
wireless providers will include the amount of heating oil, natural gas, megabytes of data used.
Not so with Exede :(

Thanks for the replies.  I emailed Exede and they want me to call to discuss (?).  Not sure what good that will do.  They gave me usage for last month and so far this month - BUT - the LNFZ usage is all lumped in there.  And it's low because we're afraid to use it other than surfing.  Obviously I need to educate myself more.  Or just give up and go back on satellite TV for watching any shows or movies, which would make my husband happy.  Other than this, I love retirement in the country!  But I sure do miss my cable internet.....sigh......

It cant hurt to call them to talk about it and see what information they can give you.  Also, trust me you are not the only on that sighs about have to have exede for internet.  Nothing against them, the service is great for what type of service it is but, yes we all wish we could have cable (some want google gig fiber but that's just wishful thinking)
