they charge your card anyway and inform you they can not refund your payment until your girlfriend makes a payment? This company is horrible and worthless. When you ask them to start to process your refund they say well we cant do that because they will just deny it WTF are they retarded? I asked you to start it not tell me what will happen. So this company will steal your money and data and information.

In situations like this I would contact my CC company and tell them it's a charge that you did not ever approve or authorize, unless your girlfriend is an authorized user, or you've allowed this charge to recur multiple times. Your credit card company will remove the charge if this is unauthorized use that you've just noticed, and you can request a new card to prevent future charges since you'll have a new number. I don't know your situation, just telling you what I would do if I didn't approve the use of my CC. If your girlfriend is an authorized user or you've allowed her account to be charged to your CC 3 or 4 times without complaint, or you share an address, you'll probably perceive yourself as screwed.

I’ll never forget George Carlin’s wisdom regarding women. Unfortunately I can’t repeat it on this forum.

Might it be a situation where you aren't ultimately authorized to make changes to her account?  Though it's your card, removing it would be making a change.

I'd advise doing what others have suggested if you can't get her to do what's right.

Hi Chris

If it's under her name and a payment was made it's seen as a valid charge on our end and we can't track it down by a card number. What you will need to do is dispute the charge with your bank to reverse it (and probably replace the card since she may have other things she's using with your payment method or saved payment method) and from there the bank contacts us releases the fee, you get your money back and she gets charged again.

An ex had my credit card once. She used it to buy $1,500 worth of purses without my knowledge. I was not a happy man.

I had a friend that was in a long term relationship with a gal that he allowed to run his finances in every way, and she was legally an authorized user on all accounts.  When he did her wrong, since she couldn't take the house, she legally maxed out every card and got him for over 30K in retaliation, and there wasn't a thing he could do about it.  After 8 or 9 years you can't claim you didn't know she had her own cards.

I learned pretty quick fielding inquiries like Chris' that if the relationship ends, you probably should change your card too.  I'm willing to bet we're not the only service that could ding him for a payment just because of how many companies keep cards on file (Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, Insurance, etc)
