The standard answer will be they are slowly rolling out at locations throughout, and to just keep checking back every so often.

The mods on here will tell you they don't even know the rollout plan.

VeteranSatUser is correct.

Unfortunately I think I share the same sentiment with my associates that we would really like to just post a potential schedule since we're asked this multiple times a day so we won't have to repeat the same answer, but how it stands we're seeing releases every few days but we aren't looped in on when and what beams are being released because I believe it's a decision that is made on the fly so we're not given a schedule internally. Usually we know after the beam is open.

With that said almost every beam release has been pretty small in comparison to the current ViaSat-1 beams but some of the bigger beams that will cover much larger locations are set to release sooner than later.

The best way to know is to check account.viasat.com to see what plans are in your area. Most of the Viasat-2 beams tout a speed of 50mbps on the highest plans. If you are unsure you can always contact us at  855-463-9333 or send an email to viasatlistens@viasat.com to see what your options are now.

A coverage map would be great, but I know that would take a lot of work. Not a beam map, but a coverage map.

After all, the interns are coming and that sounds like a good project for one of them :).

I know that it is available is some parts of Virginia mainly around Charlottesville and around Virginia Beach area but best bet is to keep checking your available plans on your account portal at http://account.viasat.com
