When will the Freedom Plan be offered in Central Illinois?

We've been a customer for almost 5 years and really love Exede... BUT, I recently started a job where I work from home and the limit on our plan is becoming maxed out very quickly (despite the fact that we are on the highest plan possible). I was told by a customer service agent at the beginning of the year that a new satellite was being launched so that Central Illinois would have access to the Freedom Plan this year... Please, Please, Please can you tell me anything further regarding this? I'm becoming desperate for additional GB's... I appreciate any help you all can give... Thanks so much

Last I heard that was next year. There was a delay with the company launching the satellite but, it's supposed to happen next year.

I don't know if your or any area will get freedom plans but, reps here have stated that they will have plans more in line with what the internet demands today, just not sure of the details yet.

If you are working form home, you may want to look into a business plan. I hear they have a dedicated support team and, I know they have more data.

I had no idea they had business plans... Anyone have additional info on these? I'll be calling tomorrow for sure. Thanks so much, Bev!

yea a bit high, well 50 GB isn't bad, 30 residential is 149, so 20 more for 20 USD is good but, that 300 install is a killer.

You might want to email them though, the install might not be that bad if you want to go t 50 GB since you already have equipment installed.

According to an earlier reply by Exede Alex (in the other forum) the install cost is waived when switching from a residential plan to a business plan. See:

However, does require a new 24 month commitment.
