When is that Freedom plan coming? Almost a month of waiting still

I called and requested the new upgraded unlimited plan on December 4. I am STILL waiting on the equipment and when I made the service order I was told 3-5 days. I tried to email privately about this issue, but the site to email you took me somewhere else. Why would I trust my phone service with you guys too if you can't get this right? I'm kind of aggravated because the person I spoke with passed the bland to UPS....who have been delivering presents to my house all week. If they had the new equipment I would have gotten it.

I think I read in another post that the modems were delayed a little because of demand and the season.

Sign up for UPS notifications and you’ll know exactly when it ships.

Tina, send an email to viasatlistens@viasat.com. Include your account number and a phone contact, along with a short description of your problem. The mods will address your issue, the work at ViaSat headquarters.

You'd be better off calling. If there is a modem shortage that would be one thing but UPS is also backed up at the moment so when ever its sent I wouldn't expect 4-5 business days.

Under normal circumstances you can expect it to take up to two weeks for a new modem to arrive from Viasat but like Ron mentioned, UPS is backed up.

Different shippers have different agreements with UPS.  Amazon is one of the companies that has persuaded UPS, Fedex, and USPS to give them priority over most other shippers.  Our friends at Viasat can't compete with the business Amazon gives to shipping companies.

Just last week I was waiting for a UPS package from a small company.  It sat two days at my regional hub, and another two days at my local dispatch center.  That never happens outside of this time of the year.

I was just told by a Viast Rep that the Modems are on backorder for up to 4 weeks.
