When I bought another GB, the percentage of used data on my data usage meter did not go down...why?

My usage was at 7o%. When I bought another GB, it added it (from 10 to 11), but the percentage of used data was not reduced. Shouldn't it be?

The meter does not show any additional purchases, only your plan allotment.
