I can get a better internet for a lot less money. I was lied to about my plan. So now I am stuck with a crappy limit. I would rather buy out and save money and time.

As per the agreement you signed when you had your internet installed, the cost to buy out is $15.00 per month of the remainder of the contract. You will also be required to return, in the box provided by Viasat, the modem, modem power supply and Tria, the thing on your dish that faces the dish itself. If those items aren't returned, you will be charged for them, in the neighborhood of $350. or so.

Steve Frederick just like what steve said... BUT!!! IF i do remember curretly... its like 300$ to get out of your contract... THEN when you DO send in back your equipment when viasat sends you the box... THEN whatever many months are left over into your contract... then youd have to pay 15$ each month.

That's pretty close!  If you don't return the equipment within 30 days, then you will be charged $150 for the modem, and for the TRIA, coming up to $300.  This only happens if you don't return the equipment though!

Otherwise, both Deku and Steve are correct, $15 per month remaining on the contract.

if he was lied to, pull the sales call and if that is true he should not be charged anything
