Ran out of data

We ran out of data with a full week to go and it was the FIRST time ever.  We did not do any differently.  I changed to the cheapest program I could get, which still gave me the 10 gigs as the other one.  So I called Excede, but they tell me it was my fault.  We are turning things off at night, they told me to do that.  But that seems silly, because it's data free from midnight to 5 am.  I pay more than when we lived where we had cable with no data restrictions.  I can't wait to move someday, I am SO UNHAPPY with this company.
